"Solid North," Emerges as Top Choice in 2025 Elections Survey

The recently formed "Solid North" party-list has become the front-runner among “Top Choice Party-lists” for the upcoming 2025 Midterm Elections.

In a recent survey conducted by "Tangere" from October 1-4, 2024, results show that the Solid North Party-list is gaining popularity among voter support from 44 party-lists with a high probability of securing representation in the House of Representatives.

According to the Tangere survey, the Solid North Party-list won a seat in the House, which is considered a significant milestone compared to veteran party-list groups such as ACT-CIS, 4Ps, and Ako Bicol. Also vying for seats are Malasakit@Bayanihan, Agri Party-list, and FPJ Panday Bayanihan.
The Tangere survey used a sample of 2,400 respondents using a mobile-based app and a “stratified random sampling method”.

According to “Solid North” chairman and president of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines, La Paz, Abra Mayor JB Bernos Ching Bernos, this survey result is a great honor and serves as an early "de facto mandate". If given the chance to gain a legislative seat, he noted, they will devote all their efforts to public service.

The Solid North Party-list represents an estimated 15 provinces in northern Luzon, particularly in Regions 1, 2, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and three additional provinces, embodying the identity of "Timpuyog ti Amianan" or "Unity in the North."

The main goal of Solid North is to support that developmental initiatives in the northern region are experienced and made tangible.
Tangere Chief Executive Officer Martin Peñaflor stated that the survey results show the strong interest of voters in party-list groups that are genuinely concerned with promoting the welfare of marginalized sectors, with emphasis on the needs of the agricultural sector and farmers.
